The hotel was great for a short stay as we drove from SF to Vegas. The room we had was more like an apartment with a full kitchen, and nice sized bedrooms and bathroom. Breakfast was typical American hotel breakfast, not too bad but not great either which is the same as any other hotel we stayed at in the US. The location was good, in a nice part of Bakersfield and quiet since it's in a business park type area so little traffic outside of work hours. It was easy to drive to nearby restaurants and supermarkets, and the price was good for the quality of the hotel.

The front desk staff welcomed me with a smile and had great people skills. The room was great, spacious and clean. The room included a separate living room and bedroom with a kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, coffee maker, and kitchen necessities (plates, spoons, forks, cups, mugs, etc). Handicap Accessibility. The location is great and I felt safe. Relatives who are local say, I chose a great hotel. It's also where they would do a staycation and located in a safer part of town. I will stay here again when I visit relatives again.

This was a good stay on our way to the desert. It was priced right and the room was big. We did not use the small kitchen in our room but it was clean and well stocked. I have to say the breakfast was really good for an "American hotel free breakfast". Real eggs, decent sausage, real potatoes - none of that frozen stuff - plus a fruit salad made on site! Great value. Near CSU.
